We’re rescuing apples that usually turn into food waste.
Every year, half a billion apples are thrown away, unable to be sold because they are too small or misshapen to make it to the store shelves. This waste results in tonnes of CO2 emissions being released into the atmosphere and contributes to our ongoing environmental issues. When we discovered just how many perfectly imperfect apples were going to waste, we knew that we had to do something about it.
We’re partnering with farmers local to the Okanagan to collect their usually unused apples and transform them into delicious hard apple cider.
